Picture yourself in a 1940s radio station, complete with microphones, applause sign and sound effects station. Complete with beautiful fairies, handsome princes, dancing snowflakes and a lovely young girl making her way to the Sugar Candy Kingdom, this gorgeous ballet is the perfect way to celebrate the season, and it's coming to the stage of Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver.

Clever, silly, relentless and definitely not for the easily offended, this red-hot skewering of all things Christmas has become an annual tradition for Denver's Avenue Theater. But this is the 10th and final season of the show, so you don't want to miss this year's over-the-top material with hit sketches from years past.

One of Longmont's most enduring holiday traditions takes Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and adds a heaping helping of music, dancing and comedy, plus a full meal, while still serving up the heartfelt Yuletide themes of charity and goodwill. Scrooge: Bah Humbug! has been an annual staple of the Jesters Dinner Theatre repertoire since 1987 -- and it even stars the same actor in the title role. A family-friendly event with a bedtime-friendly length, this popular production offers a variety of entrees if your ticket includes a meal, with fresh bread and your choice of salad or soup. A kids' menu is available too, and so is a show-only ticket.

Conductor Scott O'Neil will cue up a great selection of Christmas classic, carols and medleys, and the orchestra will be joined by the Fairview High School Festival Choir to cap off a great evening of music for the entire family.
