This hot new rock musical, the story of a steamy New York love triangle, centers around an Upper West Side wife and mom who seems to have it all. But her downtown past -- consisting of a former lover who's now a nightclub owner -- exerts a dangerous pull over her, one that threatens to lead them all down a violent path. The Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and The Lucille Lortel Awards all nominated Murder Ballad for Best Musical for its acclaimed Off-Broadway run in 2013, and Paper magazine called it a "chilling, thrilling, romantic, roller-coaster ride of a show." Now, it'll be the first musical ever staged by The Edge Theater in Lakewood.
